SCHOOLS
Schools Ministry
We currently have strong regular links with 6 local schools: Bilston CofE primary, St Martin’s CofE Primary, Villiers Primary, Loxdale Primary, Manor Primary and Field View Primary and are looking to re-establish our links with secondary schools over the coming months.
ASSEMBLIES
For many years we have been conducting free assemblies in local schools. These are visual, entertaining but with an important moral or spiritual message. This has enabled us to build some very strong relationships with both staff and pupils, many of whom we have seen come along to our youth and children’s clubs.
CLUBS AND LESSONS
Our team is available to go into local schools and take lessons or to run lunch time clubs for children to explore issues of life and faith. Get touch if you would like more info.
OTHER LINKS
We continue to work alongside schools by offering free resources, linking families with our Foodbank and hosting events for schools in partnership with other organisations. These include Hope in the Park, Watoto Children's Choir, Samartian's Purse and Saltmine Trust. You can see some photos in the gallery below of our work with schools. Please get in touch if you want any more information or would like to link a school with us.
We are heavily involved in supporting schools as part of their governing bodies. This includes St Martin's Multi Academy Trust and Villiers Primary School.
